The seaside resort BINZ is on Germany's most beautiful and sunny island Ruegen. The resort is greeted enthusiastically by its guests and offers a wide variety of activities. In the morning, the white sandy beach awaits its guests with canopied beach-chairs in neatly arranged rows. During the day, sun admirers flock to the beach. Runners on the beach encounter works of art in the sand left by playful children. Others who do not want to sunbath romp around on the part of beach set aside for water slides, skipping, trampoline jumping or pedal boating. From the sea bridge in Binz, one can take a trip in big sightseeing ships to visit the chalk cliffs and the seaside towns of Sassnitz or Sellin. Strolling along the endless beach promenade, one will pass restaurants, bars and shops. White villas can be found everywhere - along the promenade and in the town centre. What is special about these villas is that they are built in Baederarchitektur, an architectural style that is especially characteristic of spas and seaside resorts on the German Baltic coast. Eye catching facades are decorated with small turrets, bay windows, decorative gables, statuettes and finely carved wooden balconies. Binz can offer suitable vacation apartments for every taste from inexpensive to luxurious.

There is also stylish shopping in the pedestrian zone connecting the sea bridge with Schmachter Lake. Outside of town, the shore promenade of Schmachter Lake, redesigned in 2003 for the International Garden Exhibition (IGA) with rows of rhododendrons, water plays and adventure stations, has become a favourite place to relax for locals and tourists alike. Smaller parks are everywhere in town. Especially pretty is the small "park of the senses" with its box-tree labyrinth and romantic wooden rotunda. The resort park (Kurpark) may be inviting for a walk among old trees, lingering at the fountain or water treading at the Kneipp installation. Nearby a large playground is set up for children. One can also get up early in the morning to go for a walk along the sea and watch fishermen at work. Afterwards, one can enjoy a delicious breakfast in one of the many bakeries' chic breakfast rooms. Wouldn't  this be a perfect start of a wonderful vacation in Binz?!

And, In case the wedding bells ring, one can get married and have a very stylish wedding in the historic rescue tower of the famous Binz architect Ulrich Muether. The tower provides breathtaking sea views. A champagne reception on the beach can also be arranged.
